(AP) ? Deliberations have resumed for a third day in the hate crime trial of a former Rutgers University student accused of using a webcam to spy on his roommate's tryst with another man days before the roommate committed suicide.

Twenty-year-old Dharun Ravi (dah-ROON' RAH'-vee) faces 15 criminal charges. A conviction on the most serious, bias intimidation, could lead to a 10-year prison sentence.

His roommate, Tyler Clementi, jumped to his death from the George Washington Bridge in September 2010.

The jury resumed deliberations Friday morning. The 12 jurors have deliberated for about 9? hours so far without reaching a verdict.

The main question is whether Ravi intended to intimidate his roommate because of his sexual orientation.
