Job Description :	Our Client is seeking a Credit Manager who will be responsible for the underwriting of credit applications principally within the farm construction and commercial vehicle sectors. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Proposals typically ranging in size between ?5k at a minimum possibly up to ?1.5m and above. To examine and analyse each new business proposal in accordance with Company policy, If proposals are satisfactory, then to accept and commit the Company to the business, within own authority level. Decision to be communicated to Partner Sales / Corporate and Partner Services within agreed service response times. Produce analyses of clients? accounts and prepare CAF?s (Credit Application Forms) containing a detailed recommendation if above personal underwriting authority in order that a higher sanctioning authority will be able to sanction the proposed lend. To obtain further information concerning an application from Partner Sales / Corporate and Partner Services as required. To respond to all telephone queries from colleagues, third-parties and external agencies on underwriting matters. Participate in meetings with colleagues, introductory sources and third-parties to review business and to develop proposals or schemes. Participate in portfolio and risk analysis activity and help develop Credit and Risk Policy. To assist with proposals referred by other teams / Credit staff as required in line with department work flow. To maintain close liaison with Partner Sales, and Group Credit. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Must have excellent underwriting experience; must have underwritten hard assets. Extensive experience in the field of credit analysis, underwriting and risk management. Must be a team player with high analytical skills. We are keen to receive applications from candidates with proven relevant experience from the Leasing and Asset Finance industry only.
